I think we struggle to be kind to our kids because we are not kind to ourselves. We need to take the time and effort to learn this. It’s difficult because we did not receive it in our own childhood. Pausing is key and mindfulness makes it as effortless as breathing. Noticing more and being less afraid is important because our fears causes anxiety in our kids. Learn to problem solve. Teaching it to your kids will help them be thinkers, not whiners. Just laugh more, it’s healing, its connecting, it’s fun! All the above is possible with Conscious Parenting!
