We are approaching that stressful time of the year for both children and parents. I wish our education system didn’t function on grading children, it reduces them to numbers that do not tell you who they really are.
*️⃣ Can it capture a child’s unique sense of humour, who always lightens the mood of others?
*️⃣ Can it reflect a child who always shows empathy to those who need it? *️⃣Can it show you all the kindness and generosity of a child?
The answers are all no. The world is a mess with people who are a mess, who are lost, who are cruel and self absorbed because we are raising them this way. We need to focus on wholeness, which the dictionary defines as ‘all aspects of human nature, especially one’s physical, intellectual, and spiritual development’. We cannot ask for something to exist in adulthood if we do need prioritise it in childhood!
